Since 12 July 2023 Assovini Sicilia has a new President!

Mariangela Cambria is the new Assovini Sicilia’s president. Originally from Messina, co-owner at Cottanera winery along with her brothers Francesco, Emanuele and her uncle Enzo, she is in charge of marketing, communication and hospitality. Mariangela Cambria takes over Laurent Bernard de la Gatinais, who ended his 3-year term as president. Lilly Ferro was appointed as vice president and Josè Rallo as responsible for financial activities.

New members were also elected as Mariangela Cambria (President), Lilly Ferro (Vice President), Jose Rallo (Donnafugata), Achille Alessi (Terre di Giurfo), Federico Lombardo of Monte Iato (Firriato), Alberto Aiello Graci (Graci), Santi Planeta (Planeta), Laurent Bernard de la Gatinais (Rapitalà), Costanza Chirivino (Tasca d’Almerita).

As a remember the Assovini Sicilia is an association bringing together 100 Sicilian wineries of small, medium or large size, sharing mainly three elements: total control of the wine supply chain from vineyard to bottle; production of quality bottled wine; international market vision and sustainability.
