Wineries from six wine countries will be present on the 2016 Salon du Vin
From November 9 to 12, 2016, Sofia’s Inter Expo Centre will host the 15th edition of the Salon du Vin, one of the major wine event of Bulgaria.
The three days of the exhibition will provide Bulgarian wine makers and merchants with an opportunity to promote their products and popularise wine drinking as part of Bulgarian culture.
As in previous years, Salon du Vin will bring together selected wines with new vintages and brands, boutique wine series and other grape products.
Bulgarian wineries as a group will be in the limelight as each one presents its prime products in terms of grape variety selection and wine making techniques from their own vineyards in specific regions of the country.
Visitors will also be offered tastings of wines from South Africa, which will traditionally be represented on a national stand, and various labels from Italy, France, Hungary and Macedonia.
Parallel to Salon du Vin, the six halls of Inter Expo Centre will also host an international specialised show of food and drinks with focus on the HoReCa sector: Meatmania, The World of Milk, Bulpek (bakery), Interfood & Drink, and SIHRE (manufacturers of hotel, restaurant, catering and SPA equipment).
For the first time in the history of these shows, the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Inter Expo Centre and Enterprise Europe Network, the European Commission’s biggest information network in support of small and medium-sized businesses, will offer food and drinks SMEs opportunities to hold b2b meetings through which to boost their exposure and discuss future joint undertakings with local and foreign partners.
Visitors and exhibitors alike will be granted free access to these meetings. However they’ll have to book online their ticket on this link. The Food4Life event will take place on November 10.
