Wooldridge Creek Vineyard – 2015 Sparkling Brut – Applegate Valley

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine minerality (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, dynamic and offers a nice freshness, roundness, a fine acid frame and a fine effervescence. On the palate this wine expresses notes of apple, lemon paste and fine touches of ripe tangerine, Granny Smith apple associated with subtle hints of fresh cherry, vanilla and subtle hints of chocolate (in the background), subtle toasted hints and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). Good length and very beautiful persistence.
