The nose is rich, fruity, spicy and exuberant, revealing nuances white peach, apricot, pineapple, grapefruit zest, a hint of iodine, bay leaf and sage. The palate is powerful but elegant, with a nice, grippy texture and balanced acidity. It shows notes of ripe fresh and canned pineapple, baked apple, poached pear, kumquat, pomelo, all spice, ginger and saffron. The finish is opulent, spicy with a nice persistence and concentration.
