Vieux Château Gaubert 2014 – Graves

The nose is fruity. It reveals fine notes of violets, blackberries and discreet hints of cassis combined with discreet hints of small red berries, spices and a touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, mineral, silky and offers a fine concentration as well as a fresh freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and fine notes of strawberry associated with hints of licorice, a few discreet oaky hints as well as fine hints of mocha. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
