The first Paddocks is the first, original vineyard of the estate planted in 1993. It’s aromatic with wild aromas of cherry, cranberry, dried herbs, spices, earth, mushrooms, and wildflowers. It has quite the savory character. On the palate, the juicy aromas are bursting along with a very smooth, vibrant texture and firm tannins. The oak influence is noticeable but very well integrated. It’s an elegant and concentrated Pinot with nothing out of place.
