Trois Rivières – Millésime 2006 – Single Cask – Fût 23-206 – Rhum Vieux Agricole, Martinique

The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, precise and finely gourmand / rich (in the background). It reveals notes of pâtisseries, oak and slight notes of spices associated with touches of white fruits, quince, candied lemon, violet as well as a touch of gray pepper, biscuit, licorice and clove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers gourmandise, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful grain, a fine juiciness, a nice precision / definition as well as a nice guideline. On the palate, this Rum expresses notes of candied lemon, candied mandarin and white fruits in syrup associated with fine touches of pâtisseries, cedar wood / cardamom, ripe quénette, caramelization / caramelized brown sugar as well as an imperceptible minty hint.
