Taylor’s – 40 Year Old Tawny Port

The nose is elegant, fine, straight, intense and offers fine concentration. It reveals notes of dried fruit and caramel associated with a few notes of cherries (in the background), slight notes of candied citrus (lemon, orange) as well as slight notes of cedar wood, honey, nutmeg, hazelnut and hint of alcohol. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, fat, relatively rich and elegant. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of plum and slight notes of caramel associated with slight notes of cherry (in the background), fine notes of citrus, dried fruit and a touch of roasted hazelnut. Good length.
