The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a very slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes blackberry associated with small touches of wild strawberry, pepper, tea, tonka bean as well as a discreet hint of flowers / spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a slight minerality, a slight suavity, a slight acid frame, fat, a very slight unctuosity, a minerality almost saline as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of wild red berries, tonka bean / chocolate, spices, tobacco, pepper as well as discreet hints of Ceylon tea and a very discreet hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good persistence. There are hints of dark chocolate and a very discreet hint of pepper on the persistence.
