The nose is fine and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of rancio, caramelized orange and small notes of dried zests associated with fine touches of dried strawberry, hints of praline, almond, cedarwood, sweet tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, minerality, suavity, gourmandize, a very fine freshness as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of caramelized orange, rancio, dried strawberry and small notes of dried plum associated with fine touches of citrus zests, praline, chocolate, candied raspberry as well as fine hints of cedar, flowers, nutmeg, almond and spices. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of dark chocolate/cocoa bean and coffee on the persistence. Fine power on the aftertaste. A beautiful Porto!
