The nose is fruity / aromatic, well-balanced, elegant, slightly powerful and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, blueberry and fine notes of plum, crushed strawberry combined with slight touches of liquorice, chocolate, as well as a subtle hint of violet (in the background) and discreet hints of tobacco (background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful minerality, juiciness, a slight acid frame, delicacy as well as a slight elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy plum and slight notes of crushed cassis combined with slight touches of strawberry, dark chocolate, liquorice, Bourbon vanilla as well as a subtle toasted touch and an imperceptible hint of roasting (in the background). Tannins are fine, supple and a bit tight. Silkiness on the finish.
