On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy plum and slight notes of crushed cassis combined with slight touches of strawberry, dark chocolate, liquorice, Bourbon vanilla as well as a subtle toasted touch and an imperceptible hint of roasting (in the background). Tannins are fine, supple and a bit tight. Silkiness on the finish.
