Rivetto – Serralunga d’Alba 2012 – Barolo DOCG

The nose is fruity, gourmand and quite elegant. It reveals notes of cherry candy, blueberry and blackberry combined with a touch of raspberry and a discreet note of violet candy. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, silky and offers a beautiful matter, volume and fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, slight notes of Garriguette strawberry and cherry, blackberry associated with a small touch of salinity, a few slight woody notes as well as slight notes of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and racy. The finish is fruity and suave. Good length.
