Raymond – Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Generations – Napa Valley 

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of wild berries associated with small touches of fleshy strawberry, blue fruits as well as hints of liquorice, Cuben pepper, Zan, spices, nutmeg and discreet / imperceptible hints of local vegetation. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a slight unctuosity, a beautiful suavity, a slight tension, a good structure, a slight gourmandise, a slight fat, a small density as well as a slight concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed cassis and small notes of blackberry, wild black berries associated with small touches of crunchy wild strawberry, chocolate, licorice as well as discreet woody hints, coffee, cocoa / tonka bean and caramelization on the finish / persistence. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. (2020+)
