Raval 2019 – Bardolino Classico

The nose is fruity, well defined and offers a small concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe wild red berries, blackberry and small notes of bramble / local grove associated with fine touches of fleshy Bigarreau cherry, laurel as well as very fine hints of spices, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, tension, a fine freshness, volume, a certain fat, a good definition, a small minerality as well as a certain gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of strawberry, violet, hints of local grove, zan, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of toasted almonds, tea and chocolate. Tannins are a bit mellow. Good length.
