R. Dubois & Fils 2015 – Côte de Nuits-Villages

R. Dubois & Fils 2015 – Côte de Nuits-Villages

The nose is fruity, mineral and finely concentrated. The wine wins to be decanted. There are notes of blackberry and wild strawberry combined with hints of crushed berries, black cherry skin, touches of spice, chocolate and subtle hints of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a nice mineral texture, juiciness, a fine suavity, fat, a fine freshness and a fleshy end. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of jammy red berries, blueberry and liquorice tips, vanilla and an imperceptible touch of chocolate / tonka bean. The tannins are well led. Good length.
