The nose is fruity, quite fine and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of blueberry, cherry and small notes of raspberry, crushed redcurrants combined with slight touches of tonka bean, caramelization, rosewood, racy minerality as well as a subtle touch of spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a slight mineral frame (racy minerality), finesse, straightness, a beautiful finesse, a good freshness, a slight tension as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate, this Porto expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy Quetsche plum and black cherry combined with touches of blueberry, raspberry, tonka bean / dark chocolate, toasted touches, cigar, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla Bourbon (in the background) and almond. Beautiful persistence.
