Poesia 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Poesia 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers a fine freshness and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe wild berries and fine touches of Sichuan pepper, violet / flowers combined with a hint of crushed raspberry, crunchy wild small fruits as well as slight toasted hints and a touch of discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, a fine minerality, a good structure, suppleness as well as a slightly tight and creamy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of red berries, blackberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, sweet spices, a discreet tip of cassis bud / bell pepper and imperceptible touches of chocolate. Tannins are slightly firm and very discreetly tight. There is a hint of almond and caramelization on the persistence / aftertaste.
