Planeta – Nocera 2018 – Sicilia IGT

The nose is fruity and offers a fine controlled power and elegance. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, blueberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of vanilla, rose petal, a discreet hint of violet, delicate hints of sweet spices. The mouth is fresh, pulpy and offers juiciness, delicacy, a beautiful roundness (in finesse) and a small mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of cornflowers as well as slight hints of rose, liquorice, toasted hazelnut, sage, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of olive (in the background). Good length.
