Pine Ridge Vineyard – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Oakville – Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers power, a slight concentration, intensity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet, wild raspberry associated with small notes of gray pepper, spices, graphite and garrigue. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight juicy frame, finesse, power, concentration, a slight freshness as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and small notes of jammy raspberry, crushed redcurrants associated with small touches of caramelization, chocolate as well as slight hints of blueberry, almond and wood / oak. Good length. Beautiful persistence (with spicy hints). There is an imperceptible touch of almond on the aftertaste.
