Pierre Morin – Bellechaume 2015 – Sancerre

Pierre Morin – Bellechaume 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of crushed cherry, cassis and cornflower associated with touches of fleshy Gariguette strawberry as well as hints of cardamom, tea and caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, suave and offers a beautiful definition, a aerial side, tension as well as a beautiful fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, crushed/ripe redcurrant and small notes of wild strawberry associated with slight touches of licorice, black olive as well as subtle hints of tobacco and subtle toasted hints/sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. Good length.
