Perles Noires 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and reveals a fine richness of fruit, a certain fullness and freshness. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy blackcurrant and more lightly of violet combined with fine hints of strawberry, fresh blueberry as well as fine hints of vanilla, violet and a subtle touch of gunflint. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh/acidic structure, a little tension and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, juicy/sparkling blackcurrant and more lightly raspberry combined with fine hints of fresh blueberry, a discreet hint of lilac, vanilla and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are finely firm. Good length.
