Nicolas Chaulin, Languedoc 2021

Nicolas Chaulin, Languedoc 2021

The wine has a moderately deep ruby color. The nose is aromatic and fresh, very fruity. It expresses notes of juicy and tangy red fruits (red cherry, red currant, cranberries) with a slight hint of blackcurrant and Morello cherry. There is also a pleasant herbaceous touch (rosemary, bay leaf) and a discreet mineral note, slightly chalky in the background. On the palate the wine has a fruity and pleasant attack. It expresses a nice freshness of tangy red fruits (red cherry, red currant, cranberries) and a subtle bitterness with notes of white pepper and bay leaf. The tannins are fine, sufficiently present but velvety and balanced with the medium body of the wine. The finish is medium long and fruity. A pleasant wine, with a lot of finesse.
