The nose is fruity, aromatic and well-built. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry, redcurrants associated with touches of garrigue as well as a discreet hint of flowers, Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible touch of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, tension, a small aerial side, a beautiful precision, a small freshness as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy redcurrants, cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of Bigarreau cherry, strawberry as well as hints of tonka bean, ripe almond, flowers, toasted hints / vanilla and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper / garrigue (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Chews and a small firmness on the finish. The finish is (very) slightly tight.
