The nose is elegant, delicate and shows a fine richness. There are notes of crushed blackberry, toast/chocolate and more lightly crushed strawberry combined with fine hints of crushed red berries as well as fine hints of violet, graphite and vanilla/crushed almond. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and reveals good definition, a certain juiciness, freshness, minerality and a fine silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, crushed raspberry and slightly juicy/fresh strawberry combined with hints of lily, violet, racy minerality, graphite as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted hazelnut, subtle camphor and bourbon vanilla. Good length.
