Monteverro 2012 – Toscana IGT

Monteverro 2012 – Toscana IGT

(30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot) The nose is complex, elegant, straight, less “exuberant” than on the Terra di Monteverro 2012 and quite powerful. It reveals notes of cherry, blackberry and slight notes of violet associated with fine notes of garrigue, oak as well as touches of rose, cedar, liquorice and black olive. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, harmonious, concentrated, powerful and reveals tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry and cherry associated with slight notes of flowers, black olive, licorice, toasted / grilled oak and spices. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
