Menicucci – Ginesia 2017 – Pecorino Terre di Chieti

The nose is a bit closed and offers concentration, a small intensity as well as a richness. The wine need to be in carafe. It reveals notes of quenette, crunchy green apple and small notes of citrus associated with slight hints of zest and subtle hints of ripe apricot. The palate is fruity, juicy, fine, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful mineral frame, a small acid side, a beautiful precision, a good finesse of the grain as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy peach, lychee and small notes of green apple associated with touches of ripe / juicy citrus (grapefruit, mandarin, kumquat) and slight / discreet hints of juicy apricot, juicy grapes and an imperceptible hint of zest (in the background).
