The nose is fruity and offers a slight freshness, richness / gourmandise as well as elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry cream and fleshy cassis combined with slight notes of red berries, toasted notes, caramelization / brown sugar as well as touches of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a very beautiful definition, a good dynamism, a beautiful guideline, a beautiful suavity / gourmandise, elegance, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful structure as well as a nice juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and touches of crushed fleshy strawberry, fleshy red berries associated with subtle touches toasted oak, caramelization, slight touches of tonka bean / cocoa, subtle woody touches, Bourbon vanilla as well as an imperceptible toasted hint (in the background) and a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are slightly chewy. Good length. The aftertaste is discreetly powerful.
