Martel XO – Cognac

The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers elegance. It reveals notes of dry fruits, Zante currant and slight touches of lemon associated with a hint of candied fruits, a subtle hint of rancio, grilled oak as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco and pear. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, round, relatively powerful and offers suavity, fat as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of lemon zests, clementine zests, candied citrus and hints of Zante currant, caramel associated with a hint of roasting, grilled oak as well as a subtle hint of black pepper and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Good length and persistence.
