Marrone – Passione 2016 – Langhe

Marrone – Passione 2016 – Langhe

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, structure as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry, violet plum and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of gray pepper as well as a very discreet hints of small wild red fruits and an imperceptible hint of peony. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a good structure, a beautiful guideline as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black cherry, juicy/ripe plum and more slighty ripe/juicy wild raspberry associated with small touches of flowers (rose, cornflower…) as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper, toasted, tonka bean as well as an imperceptibe hint of black tea (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and precise. There are hints of toasted almond/toasted hazelnut and chocolate on the finish/persistence (bring gourmandize and chew).
