On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh / crunchy cherry, juicy / fresh raspberry and small notes of acidulous blackberry associated with touches of cherry stone, cherry blossoms, violet, fine hints of pulpy berry / juicy as well as fine hints of licorice stick, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of peony (in the background). Good length. Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate on the finish / persistence.
