Lorenzo Negro –  Roero DOCG 2018 Prachiosso, Monteu Roero

On the nose it is fruity, fresh and offers a little complexity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of luscious wild cherry, pulpy red berries and more slightly cherry blossoms associated with touches of violet, juicy / fresh blackberry, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of small fairly ripe red berries. On the palate it is fruity, racy and offers roundness, suavity, good freshness as well as some fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly of juicy/fleshy plum associated with touches of violet, rose as well as hints of liquorice, lilac, with a subtle hint of toast, of vanilla and a very discreet hint of bay laurel. Good length. Good job on the bitterness.
