Lokoya – Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 – Spring Mountain District, Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy, deep and offers a beautiful crunchiness and ripe fruit. It reveals notes of boysenberry, juicy blueberry and fleshy / juicy raspberry combined with small touches of violet, camphor and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, suave, precise and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful purity, a crunchy fruit, a slight tension as well as a beautiful structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Boysenberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of black cherry associated with small touches of juicy wild raspberry, fleshy / juicy blueberry as well as hints of chocolate, tea, caramelization and very discreet hints of sweet spices and Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are elegant. Very beautiful, gourmande and juicy persistence. There are a hint of almond, vanilla, a toasted hint, juicy red berries and blackberry on the persistence. A beautifully gourmand wine.
