The nose is aromatic, powerful, fine and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful depthness as well as concentration (but full of finesse). It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and small notes of wild strawberry, violet / flowers, small wild red berries associated with slight touches of cocoa, leather, sweet spices, nutmeg, slight hints of gray pepper, camphor as well as discreet hints of minerality, very discreet hints of caramelization and local undergrowth. The palate is beautifully fresh, fruity, beautifully well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful richness, power (but full of finesse / balance), a fine crunchiness, a slight tension, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a slight suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy cassis, small notes of juicy wild blackberries and small touches of wild strawberry, crushed redcurrants combined with slight hints of juicy blueberry, small juicy / crunchy berries, toasted oak, cocoa / tonka bean, leather, cardamom as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, violet and a very discreet hint of hazelnut / toasted almond.
