The nose is elegant, fine, fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a slight concentration, a beautiful power, a slight density as well as a beautiful richness (but full of well-balanced). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, tobacco, leather and cassis combined with slight touches of strawberry, chocolate powder, a discreet hint of cedar as well as a subtle hint of flowers (violet / cornflower), blueberry, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, elegant, a bit aerial, quite supple and offers a beautiful richness / density (full all finesse / well-balanced), a beautiful fresh frame (beautiful freshness), a slight / discreet acidity (in the background), a beautiful matter, elegance, richness, a very beautiful definition, a beautiful gourmandise, a slight juiciness, a beautiful minerality, depthness, a beautiful precision as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis, fresh / fleshy raspberry and slight notes of plum associated with touches of wild strawberry, dark chocolate powder, caramelization, a very discreet note of nutmeg as well as subtle touches of tobacco and rock / terroir. Tannins are fine and very slightly dusty. Good length. Beautiful gourmandise on the finish with slight touches of caramelization.
