Le Pin de Belcier 2014 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

Le Pin de Belcier 2014 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is aromatic and offers richness. It reveals notes of dark chocolate and slight notes of blackberry, black cherry, red fruits associated with discreet hints of caramelization as well as a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper and flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly fleshy and offers minerality, a beautiful fat, gourmandise, a tight matter, an acid frame as well as a very slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and juicy raspberry associated with slight notes of black cherry, a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background) as well as hints of toasted oak and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
