The nose is elegant, aromatic and captivating. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, flowers and strawberry combined with small hints of spice (Sichuan pepper and crushed black pepper) as well as fine notes of undergrowth / mushroom. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, finely gourmande and offers a very nice freshness, a nice fat and a nice suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe blackberry and fine notes of ripe strawberry combined with hints of red berries, gravels / minerality, fine touches of undergrowth / mushroom and a hint of chocolate / toasted oak. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
