Landaire – Chardonnay 2014 – Padthaway

The nose is aromatic, fresh, relatively fine and relatively rich / intense. It reveals notes of fresh apple, pear, brioche and peach compote associated with discreet notes of lychee as well as slight notes of vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, gourmande, well defined, relatively fat and offers suavity and an acid frame. The mouth is dynamic thanks to the acid structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of citrus (lemon, crystallized clementine), vine peach and apple combined with fine touches of litchi, butter brioche as well as a discreet hint of vanilla oak. Good length.
