The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and offers power (full of elegance), a fine grain as well as a fine richness (in delicacy). It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of Sichuan pepper, violet, racy minerality, small wild black berries as well as slight hints of licorice, green pepper and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, a racy minerality, a fine deepness, gourmandize, juiciness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy wild strawberry associated with a fine touch of juicy plum as well as very slight toasted hints, spices sweet, chocolate and an imperceptible varietal hint. Tannins are elegant. Straightness and a fine firmness on the finish.
