Jean Cavé 2001 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, elegant, fine and gourmand. It reveals notes of candied citrus and candied peach combined with a touch of orangette, rancio as well as a woody hint and cane sugar. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant and offers a small acid frame, fat and suavity. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of peach in syrup, a touch of white fruits and a hint of candied citrus associated with fine notes of crystallized clementine as well as fines notes of pâtisserie (discreet) and fine notes of sweet spices (caramel, vanilla) in the background. Good length.
