Högl – Bruck Alte Parzellen Smaragd 2012 – Wachau

The nose is fruity, fine, elegant, aerial and offers a fine richness. It reveals fine notes of quince and white fruit associated with a hint of green peach and a subtle hint of beeswax (in the background). The mouth is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, aerial and offers a nice gourmandise, a beautiful suavity, a fine mineral frame, a fine acidity, a nice fat as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon and ripe clementine combined with slight notes of exotic fruits as well as a hint of green apple and a subtle hint of beeswax. Good length.
