The nose is beautifully elegant, fruity, gourmand, captivating, racy and offers a very slight finesse, richness, a beautiful power as well as a slight minerality. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of ripe wild strawberry, ripe raspberry, forest soil / terroir associated with slight touches of blue fruit, wood, slight toasted / caramelized touches, a subtle / discreet hint of flint, very discreet hints of cocoa as well as a very discreet hint of violet, grove (in the background) and pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, concentrated (but well-balanced) and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful gourmandise, a beautiful definition, a beautiful elegance, a beautiful depthness, suavity, a nice tannic structure, a nice freshness, a beautiful suppleness as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed boysenberry, blueberry and slight notes of wild strawberry, cherry combined with slight hints of ripe fleshy berries, toasted oak, subtle touches of dark chocolate as well as discreet hints of caramelization, Bourbon vanilla and subtle touches of almond on the finish. Tannins are fine and very young. Good length. Very beautiful, gourmande and suave persistence. There are subtle hints of caramelization and vanilla on the persistance. (2022+)
