Granges-Bernard 2010 – Château-Chalon

Granges-Bernard 2010 – Château-Chalon

The nose is aromatic, fine and offers intensity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of dried fruits, apple cooked in butter and small notes of quince, small yellow fruits associated with a discreet hint of apple, acacia, flint, spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, frank, straight, structured and offers a good definition, a beautiful delicacy, a fine acidulous frame, a small freshness as well as a beautiful texture in lace. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, lemon caviar and mirabelle plum associated with small touches of flint / minerality, white flowers as well as very discreet hints of fresh almond. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of vanilla on the finish. The finish is a bit powerful.
