Fanti – Sassomagno 2014 – Sant’Antimo

Fanti – Sassomagno 2014 – Sant’Antimo

The nose is relatively powerful and slightly austere. It reveals notes of undergrowth and hints of Sichuan pepper associated with discreet hints of blackberry, violet, small berries and wood. The wine needs to be served in carafe. The mouth is fruity, juicy, gourmand, dense, tight, nicely fleshy and offers fat, a nice freshness as well as a beautiful juicy frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, juicy blackberry and slight notes of ripe red berries combined with discreet hints of cassis, olive and a hint olive tree. Good length.
