Familiar Air – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a slight concentration / richness. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of blueberry as well as a discreet hint of flowers and subtle hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, chiselled, beautifully supple and offers a beautiful fresh frame, minerality, suavity as well as a good volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy / juicy plum and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with slight mineral notes, a touch of chocolate, liquorice, cardamom as well as hints of vanilla / caramelization on the finish. Tannins are fine and very slightly dusty / firm. Good length.
