Domaine Zinck – Riesling 2015 – Grand Cru Eichberg – Alsace

Domaine Zinck – Riesling 2015 – Grand Cru Eichberg – Alsace

The nose is fresh, fruity, racy, slightly powerful and offers a good structure as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of flint, lemon, fresh zests and spices associated with touches of nutmeg, passion fruits, discreet touches of flowers as well as an imperceptible hint of lemongrass and gray pepper (in the background). The mouth is fresh, fruity, racy, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful definition, a nice volume, a slight acid frame, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful racy minerality as well as a very slight juiciness / suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon, apple, pear and fresh mandarine associated with slight touches of exotic fruits, fresh lemon zests and flint. Good length.
