The nose is elegant and slightly intense. It reveals notes of cassis jam, morello cherry and slight hints of blueberry associated with a hint of blackberry, caramelized oak as well as discreet hints of graphite, sweet spices, tobacco and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, silky and offers a beautiful minerality, a slight richness as well as a slight acid/juicy frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, plum jam and slight hints of prune, cassis associated with a discreet hint of crushed raspberry, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of mocha and nutmeg. Tannins are slightly firm. A wine nicely built and gourmand.
