Domaine Vacheron 2015 – Sancerre

Domaine Vacheron 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers a finegourmandise. It reveals notes of fleshy Gariguette, blackberry cream and small notes of cassis, red berries associated with touches of sweet spices, bay/flowers as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate/toasted hint and Sichuan pepper (after aeration). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful definition, dynamism, a beautiful juiciness, suavity as well as a beautiful straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/crushed redcurrant, dried raspberry and racy minerality associated with small notes of fresh blackberry as well as a touch of fresh cassis, tobacco, toasted touch and a very discreet hint of flowers/black olive. Tannins are well-built. Good length and beautiful persistence (gourmand).
