Domaine Rossignol-Trapet – Petite Chapelle 2018 – Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru

The nose is fresh and offers minerality. It reveals notes of fresh cornflower, fresh red fruits, small notes of fresh iris associated with fine touches of blackberry as well as very fine hints of fresh leather and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, richness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy red cherry, crunchy/fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh/crunchy plum associated with small touches of crunchy/juicy blackberry as well as hints of cornflower, iris and toasted. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length and persistence.
