Domaine Rolet – Tradition 1988 – Côtes du Jura

The nose is fruity and offers small notes of mushroom, notes of quince, dried yellow berries and more slightly dried apple zest associated with small touches of pepper as well as a small “fermentation” side. There is a subtle hint of saffron and an imperceptible hint of vanilla and cumin. The palate is fruity with juice and freshness. There is a certain bright side, gourmandize, precision and tension. There are notes of yellow apple, dried mirabelle plum and more slightly persimmon associated with small touches of cumin, blond tobacco, saffron as well as a hint of nutmeg. There is a subtle hint of pepper in the background as well as a subtle tannic side on hints of almond. Good length and good persistence. Roundness and a discreet brioche side in the background
